The New Year

2011 Nathan and I welcome you with open arms. This year is going to be a wonderful one. Our luck has finally turned around and we are excited to accomplish our goals. Some new information with us is Nathan got a job and Converges in the Cisco department. He loves his job, it maybe slow sometimes but he is making friends and gets to catch up on reading books he loves. I am still working at the UFCU as a FT MSR and enjoying it more than I have the past years. I am getting along with everyone and making great friendships along the way. A goal Nathan and I have is to hopefully get into school this year. Nathan and I are still trying to decide what we want to go into. I have some ideas but still am trying to decide but it keeps coming down to Forensic Science or Physiology.

This year Nathan and I will finally be able to get a place of our own. I am so beyond excited! We have lived with Wil and Jess for over a year and moved out late November to my parents which has actually been really nice. We have been enjoying it very much. Hopefully by March we will be settled into our own apartment. While living with the parents we have been happier and healthier. Which is one of our goals for 2011. We have saved quite a bit of money in the process to. Along with spending more time with our nieces who are obsessed with Nathan.

Nathan and I have set up our goals before we have our family for all those who keep wondering when we are going to began to have children. Not going to lie for a while I was getting a bit tired of people and their comments and constantly asking. We have remained strong in our decision when we want to start our family. We want to enjoy the time we have with one another. My biggest fear is to raise a family in an unhappy marriage, I never want to be that couple who says or deep down knows that they are only together because of their children. We also want to travel outside the country, Nathan has already been but I haven't and thats a big part of my life that I need to accomplish. We also need to get out of debt, yes this includes our vehicles that is debt that can be accomplished.

So this is the update on our lives. Stay tuned for more.
Love Nathan and Megan Spjute.

  1. Hello fellow bloggers! Troy and I maintain 5 blogs! It is great fun! Of course, I think you should switch your name to M&N instead of N&M because then it sounds like M&M's candy. At least I call them M&N's!

  2. Sounds exciting! Is Nathan going to be posting here as well? Since he gets bored at work sometimes, you should make him write a few too. Of course Becca never has me write a post...
